My recent stay at Villan was exceptional. The old building exuded charm and character, making it a unique and cozy experience. The location was ideal, with a ferry stop right in front of the hotel, providing easy access to the central train station and tourist attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as a smaller wardrobe and the need to get up to turn off the lights, the overall experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend Villan for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Gothenburg.

I always keep coming back because Hotel Villan has everything I need; free Wi-Fi, a bar, a restaurant, and a helpful staff. The amenities, like a flat-screen TV, make it a perfect fit. Can't wait to return for Christmas!

We recently had an excellent stay at Hotel Villan. The twin suite offered a lovely surprise with its bathtub, perfect for cooling down during the heatwave. The suite itself was spacious and had a loungy feel, resembling a mini-apartment. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the small but good enough breakfast was a nice start to the day. We also enjoyed dining in the adjacent restaurant, Sjöporten, which boasted a scenic terrace overlooking the river. our experience at Villan was memorable and we look forward to returning, especially for that amazing suite!

The location was seriously on point. It was just a five-minute walk to the ferry station, where we hopped on a boat and explored the Gothenburg historical ship replica. It felt like an adventure every day! Plus, the hotel was only four miles away from downtown Gothenburg, where we checked out the cool Gothenburg City Museum and caught a show at the opera house.
